When you step into the 200 year-old shop in the center of Paris, it feels a little like being transported to another era. A bewitching era in an old wooden chateau creaking under the visitors feet as they wander through the shop’s display and buy the best professional cookware in the world. A must visit for professional and amateur cooks.
E. Dehillerin is located adjacent to the “Les Halles” complex in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, and is the most prominent among kitchenware shops in the city. It’s not just another modern and squeaky-clean giant department store. It’s a legendary cookware shop established in Paris in the year 1820!!! It hasn’t changed much since its establishment, and as you wander through the heavily burdened shelves that furnish the age scented narrow passages, you might feel you have stepped into France’s culinary history.

Personally I can lose track of time there, and I’ll always find one more utensil or cooking and baking equipment that I need, items you can’t find anywhere else. The highest quality kitchenware and dishes, sometimes rare items, real bargains. The shop is known in part for its cream of the crop (Mauviel) collection of copper cookware, which comes in varied thicknesses and a selection of internal coating types. It’s the Disneyland for cooking enthusiasts, personally speaking, I could live there.
The shop is always packed with foodies and chefs who simply have to pay a visit every time they’re in town. The shop is the official supplier of equipment to some of the best known restaurants in Paris. The service is very courteous and professional.
